12/23 Shooto Alternative 1

Shooto will be putting on an event in Osaka's Sumiyoshi Kumin Hall.

There are some good talent on the card, as well as some debutants.

Tomohiko Yoshida has won 4 fights in a row since his last fight in Shooto and all the debutants here have a lot of experience with amature shooto.

There are also 3 rookie tournament champtions on the card (Konishi, Shiba and Eda), this should be a good event.

8/16 Shooto Borders Season 1 "Advance" - RESULTS

The second event of the Borders Season 1 series was held yesterday in a sold out Hirano City Hall. There were 3 rookie tournament champions on the card, and the main-event saw 2 rookie tournament champions face off. Masaki Konishi was the champion in 2006, but has not fought since. He returned to take on the 2008 rookie tournament champion, Takuya Sato.

The 3rd champion was Hiroshi Shiba, who is having an awesome 2009 so far.
