4/29 Shooto GIG West 11 - Results

Wednesday Sustain put on "Shooto Gig West Vol. 11" in Osaka. The main event saw last year's rookie tournament champion, Kosuke Eda, take on Teriyuki Matsumoto. Matsumoto returned to the ring after 1.5 years away to rematch Eda. The result was the same.

In this years Rookie Tournament, "Yoroi" advanced with a win over Shooto debutant Yoshinori Takahashi. Takahasi now has an MMA record of 0-5 and is still looking for his 1st win.

4/29 Shooto GIG West 11 - Fight Order

If you are in Tokyo on April 29, the M-1 Challenge is on. On the day Shooto is having their "Gig West 11" in Osaka.

The main event for this Shooto event will see last years rookie tournment champion, Kosuke Eda will take on the last fighter to defeat him, Teiyuki Matsumoto. Matsumoto has not fought since the last fight with Eda, in September 2007. Eda on the other hand has had 5 fights and has a 4-0-1 record.

6/1 Pancrase Shining Tour - Korakuen Hall

Pancrase is holding 2 events in 1 week. The Osaka event is happening this Sunday then next Sunday we will have the Shining Tour in Korakuen Hall. I am not sure who "Junior" is, but the Pancrase site lists him with a 9-0 record, he is a Chute Boxe fighter and his fight with Izuru Takeuchi should be a good one. A good mix of experienced and talented fighters in this event.

Kanehara has not won a fight since 2001, lets see if he can get a win against KeiYamamiya.

I am not sure of the fight order.
