6/29 ClubDEEP Nagoya - RESULTS

DEEP had their ClubDEEP on Sunday. There are not a lot of MMA events, that I am aware of, in Nagoya. But over 2 weeks now there are 2. In this event DEEP put on a decent DEEP card and HEAT 7. Should also be a very interesting event. I will update the card on that one too.

6/29 ClubDEEP Nagoya

ClubDEEP Nagoya will be held in ZEPP Nagoya. They have added a tag-team grappling fight to this card, participating will be Hidehiko Hasegawa. Also in this event there are a mix of rules including MMA, grappling and Kick rule.

I was confused by what seems to be the main event... Less than 3 months ago, Ryan Bow and Naoki Matsushita fought a draw in ClubDEEP Tokyo, now they get a re-match.

It will be interesting to see if Kunihiro Watanabe can continue to finish his opponent inside the first minute, but in this one he might be considered the underdog against the more experienced Umemura, who also likes to finish his fights early.

MMA:
Naoki Matsushita 9-9-9 vs. 16-8-0 Ryan Bow
Takashi Matsushita 2-5-1 vs. 0-4-1 Hideo Matsui
Hiroshi Umemura 10-7-3 vs. 4-2-0 Kunihiro Watanabe
Atsuhiro Tsuboi 5-10-2 vs. 1-3-0 Henrik "Wolverine" Kakiuchi
Seiji Akao 3-1-0 vs. 0-2-0 Tatsumitsu Wada
Tadao Kimura vs. 4-2-0 Yoshiyume Chodo

Grappling Tag-team:
Hidehiko Hasegawa/Taishi vs. Christian/Koda

Kick-rule:
和勲 Oshima vs. Furusawa
Takao Futatsugi vs. Kazuki Tamagawa
Fumihiro Hara vs. Akihiro Nakamura

Future Fight:
Ryota Matsui vs. Hiroyuki Tsuzuki
Noriyuki Takeuchi vs. Ryusaku Mishina
