Shinya Aoki gives up his Shooto title

I dont believe it until I see it, but Boutreview is reporting that Shinya Aoki is giving up his Shooto Middlweight title.

Aoki has held this belt since February 17 2006, when he won the belt in a fight against Akira Kikuchi. Since then the belt has been in his possesion, only dusted off once, for a title defence a year later (February 17, 2007) also on that occation against Akira Kikuchi.

Even though I havent seen any big article about this, it looks official.
