6/1 ShootBoxing Champions Carnival - RESULTS *UPDATED*

Monday 1 June 2009

ShootBoxing is having their Champions Carnival in Korakuen Hall now. It is a very interesting card, and lots of good fighters on it.

The Super-Featherweight title fight was fought as a non-title fight due to the challenger Hiroaki Suzuki coming in over weight. Thanks to Pete for notifying me!

Man ... fighting up a weight class, on short notice, in place of Duane Bang Ludwig, and knocking out a 2006 World Champion? In Japan? Thunder - you are a warrior.

I hope you get used to Japan. They appreciate warriors. You're gonna be a superstar there.

I'm sure glad Toner's my friend and not my opponent. I feel a Crawl coming on...

Shout out to Amy Lynn!
