The Mika Nagano Pictures *UPDATED*

At long last I got my hands on these, and for all the fuss I sort of expected more. But I gues thats just my hormones speaking. She is a beautiful girl (all I can say).

For those who needs more of Mika you can click here for the GBR free video of the event.

10/18 Shooto Gig Tokyo Vol. 3 - Fight Order

Shooto promotor Sustain and Shooto Gym Tokyo have announced the fight order for their event in Shinjuku Face on October 18. It should be a good event and the main event will be a awesome fight for the Shooto featherweight Pacific rim title fight. Both Koetetsu Okazaki and Hiromasa Ogikubo are awesome fighters and the winner of this fight will be a very deserved champion.

But this card has a lot of talented and interesting fighters on it. Some fighters worth mentioning are Guy Delameau and Yuta Nezu, I am picking both of them for a win even though I like cheering for the eternal underdog "Mike" Hayakawa (he is a much better fighter than his record indicates).

Featherweight Pacific Title Fight:
10. Koetsu Okazaki 5-1-1 vs. 6-0-2 Hiromasa Ogikubo

9. Welter: Jin Kazeta 8-9-2 vs. 10-5-1 Guy Delameau

10/25 DREAM 12 - Fights Announced, Cage Revealed

DREAM 12 will be a big event for FEG, not only have they announced some big names for the card, but it will also be the first FEG event in a cage. DREAM have chosen a 6-sided cage, and you can see a picture here (taken from GBR):

The fights announced today will be very interesting. Eddie Alvarez will be taking on DEEP champion, Katsunri Kikuno in what will be my pick for fight of the night. Kikuno have had a very good 2009 so far, with no losses and wins over Bu Kyung Jung, Koichiro Matsumoto and Andre "Dida".

The other fight announced today will see the newly crowned Cage Force champion, Kuniyoshi Hironaka (does this mean Cage Force will lose another champion?), will take on Korean standout "Parky". "Parky" has also gone 3-0 in DEEP this year, and deserves the step up, I still think Hironaka will be a size too big for him.

Announced:
Eddie Alvarez 18-2-0 vs. 12-1-1 Katsunori Kikuno
Won Sik "Parky" Park 7-1-1 vs. 15-6-0 Kuniyoshi Hironaka

Participants:
Kiyoshi Tamura 33-13-2
Yoshiro Maeda 25-7-2
Andrews Nakahara 2-1-0
Paulo Filho 18-1-0
Alistair Overeem 29-11-0
Marius Zaromskis 12-3-0
Myeon Ho Bae 8-4-0

10/25 DREAM 12 - Participants Announced

FEG have announced 8 participants for DREAM 12, and with 2 events with only a few weeks between it will be interesting to see if they can fill both cards.

It also is clear that this will be the first time DREAM holds their event in a cage. The shape of the cage has not been made official, but it seems like it will be similar to the Strikeforce cage rather than an octagon.

This event will be in Osaka, and on the card will be fighters such as DEEP champion, Katsunori Kikuno, Japanese legend Kiyoshi Tamura and the very popular Alistair Overeem. Add to that DREAM stars such as Marius Zaromskis and Eddie Alvarez and it is a card with a lot of potential.

Participants:
Kiyoshi Tamura 33-13-2
Katsunori Kikuno 12-1-1
Yoshiro Maeda 25-7-2
Andrews Nakahara 2-1-0
Paulo Filho 18-1-0
Alistair Overeem 29-11-0
Marius Zaromskis 12-3-0
Eddie Alvarez 18-2-0

10/6 DREAM 11 - Fights Added

FEG have made a couple of changes to the DREAM 11 card. It is now official that JZ Calvan is out of the fight with Daisuke Nakamura, and they are looking for a replacement.

Kawajiri is returning to MMA after being unsuccessful in his last K-1 fight against Masato. He will take on Melchor "Barracuda", "Barracuda" will be the underdog here but they have a strong MMA community in Guam and I would not underestimate him.

Not unexpectedly, Bob Sapp have replaced Gegard Mousasi.

The event also has the Featherweight tournament and the reserve fight between D.J. Taiki and Kazuyuki Miyata. D.J. Taiki was unable to continue in he tournament due to injury, Miyata is cutting down to featherweight and should be a beast at this weight. This is my pick for fight of the night.

Announced:
Light: Tatsuya Kawajiri 24-5-2 vs. 2-2-0 Melchor "Barracuda" Manibusan

Super-Hulk Tournament Semi-Final:
Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou 6-4-0 vs. 10-5-1 Bob Sapp

Previously Announced:
Super-Hulk Semi-Finals:
Ikuhisa Minowa 42-30-8 vs. 2-2-0 Hong Choi Man

Joe Warren 2-0-0 vs. 5-2-0 Bibiano Fernandes
