One of the highlights during this event was the presentation of the Japanese participants in Yarennoka.

Ryo Chonan was also presented as the DEEP champion, however due to his commitments to the UFC, he handed this belt back to Saeki as he would not be able to defend this. There will be a tournament next year to determine the next Middleweight champion. This will be held February 22.
