12/31 Yarennoka - Fight Cancelled

Monday, 24 December 2007

Yarennoka announced today the the fight between Shinya Aoki and JZ Calvan will be cancelled. This is due to a knee injury JZ sustained during training Dec. 17. This is a huge dissapointement, but things like this happen… Hopefully we get to see this fight some time next year.
Now I would say that Yarennoka has some problems too, in my mind they need 2-3 more fights to make it a full card.

it does suck but you know what? there are already enough QUALITY fighters on this card that i'm not even that sad. this event has all the makings of a classic, if only for the fact that fedor, sakurai, misaki, aoki are guranteed to fight then you've got arona and alexsander as well as others. it's about time an org. picked up whre pride left off in terms of pooling the talent.

Still an ok card, but with only 6 fights on it, I have a problem with the ticket prices.

This was the best fight on the card in my opinon, but the Akiyama vs. Misaki will be good.

Lets just hope they come up with an opponent for Aoki (like they have promised), plus one more fight.
