3/5 Sengoku - Card complete?

Thursday 21 February 2008

Today it looks as if the Sengoku card is finally complete. If it is, it will hold 7 fights, maybe not the quantity I had hoped for but the quality should be there.

It will be very interesting to see Peter Graham making his MMA debut, have a look at the video to see what he did to Badr Hari (this also covers the press conferance brawl).

Kazuyuki Fujita 14-6-0 vs. Peter "Rolling Thunder" Graham

Already announced:
Hidehiko Yoshida 7-5-1 vs. 20-5-0 Josh Barnett
Ryo Kawamura 7-1-2 vs. 4-0-0 Antonio Braga Neto
Fabricio Monteiro 16-6-0 vs. 34-9-1 Nick Thompson
Takanori Gomi 27-3-0 vs. 16-7-0 Duane Ludwig
Makoto Takimoto 4-3-0 vs. 15-10-0 Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos
Kazuo Misaki 18-8-2 (1NC) vs. 13-1-1 Siyar Bahadurzada

Unfortuantely I chose the same video as the guys over at Nightmare of Battle(check out their article as well). It is the best video I could find, but if you want to see his last K-1 fight:

Looks like a tough fighter, i'm sure he'll do well in mma. Great knock out kick in that video, but he seems to have used that same kick a few times and it would be a risky one to use in mma as it leaves you so open to a take down if the kick doesn't land perfectly.

You're right, have a feeling its his go to KO trick (hence ROlling Thunder).

But as you say, he seems like a very tough all-round guy. Will be a VERY good fight against Fujita, who is known to take a few punches. I am looking forward to this one!
