4/5 Pancrase Changing Tour 2 - King of Pancrase Fight Announced

Last year Pancrase held a tournament to determine who would challenge the interim champion, Takuya Wada, for the title "King of Pancrase". Takuya Wada had a title fight in December though, he faced Masahiro Toryu and is now the 4th welterweight King of Pancrase. On April 5, he will face the winner of last year's tournament, Tomoyoshi Iwamiya, for the title. Iwamiya defeated Kiichi Kunimoto and Hiroyuki Nozawa, both by unanimous decision to earn this title shot.

Pancrase will be looking to step it up in 2009, and I have really high expectations for the cards and fighters they bring in.
