Mach Dojo - Gym Visit

Yesterday I had a chance to go out, meet "Mach" and check out his gym in Ryugasaki, Ibaraki. For visitors coming in, it might not be the perfect location (a little far from Tokyo). However, the facilities are some of the best I have seen and if you are coming in to prepare for a fight, the location should be perfect. I only took pictures in the Dojo, but there is a connected gym that is very well equipped as well.



There are a lot of young fighters coming out of the gym there, and it is easy to see why when you watch them train. These guys are very serious about what they do, in addition to having top facilities and training staff.



Of his fighters competing in the upcoming weeks, Kunio Nakajima and Hiroaki Sakuma are fighting at the Shooting Disco event this Saturday. In addition to that, Hideto will make his debut in DEEP on February 20. Hideto is a guy that "Mach" himself thinks will be a champion in the future, he just turned 19 yesterday and it should be an exciting debut!



"Mach" himself is expecting to be in the DREAM welterweight GP. The date nor opponent are set, but most likely March or April. I can't wait for the fight! His exciting style and determination has gained him a lot of fans, globally, over the years and I am sure he will be one of the favorites going into the GP.
